There are many robust note-taking apps in the market, but Samsung Notes app is perhaps the best option for S Pen fans. The app harnesses the capabilities of Samsung’s stylus better than any other offering in the market, although it falls short of the company’s own S Note app that Samsung Notes replaced.
Samsung is making its note-taking app even more capable in the latest app update to version 3.0.05.13 by bringing the Shared Notebooks feature. As evident from the name, the feature allows Galaxy users to share notebooks in the Samsung Notes app. The process is straightforward and requires enabling Samsung Social features which can be done by clicking on the Shared Notebooks option in the app
While this feature is new to the Samsung Notes app, it is commonplace in the market. Many of the popular note-taking apps already offer similar or better collaboration features. Still, it is a worthy upgrade and makes Samsung’s first-party offering a good-enough option for many Galaxy users. The fact that the app is entirely free also adds to its appeal.
It is not clear which devices and OS versions are receiving the app update. In our case, the update is available on the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S10 through Galaxy Store but not on the Galaxy Tab S3. The Play Store version, meanwhile, is yet to be updated for any device, but that should change in the next couple of days. If you haven’t received the update yet, you can try your luck by downloading the APK from our database.
