Samsung has launched the Galaxy A70, the newest member of its crowded 2019 Galaxy A lineup, in Malaysia. Announced towards the end of March, the latest upper-mid-range smartphone from Samsung has so far been launched in several Asian countries, including India, China, and Vietnam, and is coming to markets in a few other regions soon. The device offers several premium features, such as 25W super fast charging, 32MP cameras, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The most feature-packed Galaxy A smartphone
The Galaxy A70 is the most feature-packed Galaxy A smartphone available right now. It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display and is powered by the Snapdragon 675 octa-core chipset. The device comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage space. It runs Android Pie out of the box, with Samsung’s One UI 1.1 on top. For optics, you have a triple camera setup on the back and a 32MP front camera.
As we concluded in our review, the Galaxy A70 is a media consumption powerhouse which can take plenty of abuse and still hold on to some battery juice, thanks to the big 4,500 mAh battery. And with 25W super fast charging, it charges faster than any other Galaxy A smartphone and even the non-5G Galaxy S10 flagship trio. The Galaxy A70 also offers MST-based Samsung Pay, a rare feature on the new Galaxy A series phones.
The Galaxy A70 is available at all Samsung stores and authorized retailers across Malaysia with a price tag of RM1,999 (~$492). It comes in blue, black, and white with a gradient finish.
