Samsung is planning a mega launch event for August, where it will reportedly launch multiple devices. The Galaxy Tab S7 and the Galaxy Tab S7+ are also expected to debut in the same month. While the Galaxy Tab S7+’s battery capacity was leaked two weeks ago, we’ve just now stumbled upon information that reveals the Galaxy Tab S7’s battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab S7’s battery (EB-BT875ABY) has passed through the necessary 3C certification process, and the supporting document reveals that its capacity is 7,760mAh. That’s around 20 percent smaller than the 9,800mAh battery inside the Galaxy Tab S7+. However, we should point out that the Galaxy Tab S7 has an 11-inch screen, while the Galaxy Tab S7+ has a 12.4-inch screen.
Compared to the 10.5-inch Galaxy Tab S6’s 7,040mAh battery, the Galaxy Tab S7’s a higher battery capacity to support its slightly larger, 11-inch display. The tablet is expected to be available in Wi-Fi only and 4G LTE variants. The Galaxy Tab S7+, however, will also be available in a 5G variant in some markets. The larger variant of the tablet recently received Wi-Fi certification.
The Galaxy Tab S7 is expected to feature a QHD+ Super AMOLED screen with HDR10+, an under-display fingerprint reader, and an S Pen. The tablet might also come with Snapdragon 865 processor, more RAM compared to its predecessor, and a microSD card slot. Other features of the upcoming tablet might include AKG-tuned stereo speakers, better cameras, and Android 10 with One UI 2, and 25W fast charging support.
