The Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy Note 10 had received the One UI 3.0 beta update a few weeks ago. However, the company never released the next beta builds for the devices due to bugs. Now, Samsung has mentioned that upcoming One UI 3.0 beta updates for its 2019 flagship phones have been delayed even further.
The operation manager for the beta program has mentioned that the second One UI 3.0 beta update for the Galaxy S10 series has been delayed. The third One UI 3.0 beta update for the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+ is delayed as well. The company is trying to fix bugs and battery drain related issues before releasing it next week. The main reason behind the delay seems to a problem be related to Samsung Pass.
Luckily, Galaxy Z Fold 2 users in South Korea received the second beta update this week, so international users will get it soon. Samsung recently started rolling out the stable Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update to the Galaxy S20 series worldwide, and the Galaxy Note 20 series is expected to receive it soon.
Due to the early possible release of the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung appears to be busy in the development and testing of Android 11-based One UI 3.1. Once the company finishes rolling out the One UI 3.0 update to its phones, its high-end phones could first start getting the One UI 3.1 update.
