Samsung released the October 2021 security update to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in the US earlier this month. The company has now started rolling out the update to the international version of its most affordable foldable smartphone.
The latest update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes with firmware version F711BXXU2AUJ7. It includes the October 2021 security patch that fixes more than 60 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. While we don’t have the official changelog yet, the update could also include general bug fixes and improvements to device stability.
You can check whether your Galaxy Z Flip 3 has received the update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually using a Windows computer.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in August alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The smartphone will get three major Android OS updates and monthly security updates. The South Korean firm could launch more color variants of the Z Flip 3 later today.
