After releasing the stable version of Android 12-based One UI 4.0 to the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung has opened the One UI 4.0 beta program for the Galaxy S10 series. The company has already released the One UI 4.0 beta update to the Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
The announcement for the Galaxy S10 One UI 4.0 beta program was done via the Samsung Members forum in South Korea. The Beta Operations Manager posted a banner and invited interested Galaxy S10 series smartphone users to participate in the program. If you’re interested in beta-testing the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 beta update on your Galaxy S10 device, you can do so by clicking on the One UI 4.0 banner on the Samsung Members app’s home page.
Galaxy S10 One UI 4.0 beta update could be released to more countries
The One UI 4.0 beta program is currently live in South Korea, but it could expand to more countries, including China, Germany, India, the UK, and the US over the next few weeks. Samsung could release multiple beta versions of One UI 4.0 to the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and the Galaxy S10 5G before releasing the stable update sometime in January 2022.
One UI 4.0 features a revamped user interface design, complete with Material You-inspired Color Palette feature. It also features improved performance, privacy, and security. Samsung has also improved all the stock apps, widgets, and even updated the widget picker’s design. There are dozens of other new features that you can find across the new software.
