Samsung is now offering Enterprise Edition variants of the Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8 in Germany, but don’t get too excited: the made-for-business models don’t bring any new features—or internal upgrades—to the handsets.
The Enterprise Edition scheme does, however, provide participating companies with an extended three-year warranty, a three-year license for Knox Configure and monthly security maintenance updates for three years.
The changes the Enterprise Edition brings are software-based
Seeing as the changes the Enterprise Edition brings are software-based, the Galaxy Note 8 continues to sport an Exynos 8895 CPU and 6GB of RAM, while the Galaxy S8 still has an Exynos 8895 CPU and 4GB of RAM.
Those wanting to pick up an Enterprise Edition model of either the Galaxy Note 8 or Galaxy S8 will need to contact Tech Data Mobile, one of Europe’s leading distributors of mobility devices for businesses.
