Silver Galaxy Note 9 color option breaks cover in leaked render

It appears that Samsung has a new color option for the Galaxy Note 9 up its sleeve. A leaked render of the device suggests that a silver Galaxy Note 9 might arrive soon. It’s said that this color option will only be offered in the United States. Samsung currently offers the Galaxy Note 9 in Ocean Blue and Lavender Purple colors in the country.

It is as yet unknown what this new color option for the Galaxy Note 9 will be called. The color itself is quite similar to the Arctic Silver option that was offered with the Galaxy S8 last year. The Galaxy Note 8 wasn’t available in this color.

The Galaxy Note 9 can also be picked up in Metallic Copper and Midnight Black in other markets. The report doesn’t say if this new color option will be made available to customers outside the United States. It also doesn’t mention if the silver color will be for both the 128GB and 512GB models or would it be limited to just one.

It won’t be surprising if Samsung comes out with a new color for its flagship smartphone a couple of months after it has been released. The company is known for launching new color options to drive sales once a new flagship hits the market.

Don’t expect any additional changes in the device. Everything else will remain the same if the report about a silver Galaxy Note 9 does indeed turn out to be true. The device will have all of the specs and features that existing owners know and love. It won’t cost more than what Samsung is currently charging for the Galaxy Note 9 as well which is $999 for the base 128GB model in the United States.

What do you think about a silver color option for the Galaxy Note 9? If you haven’t purchased the device yet would you consider buying it in silver?
