May 2021 security update reaches Galaxy A32 5G in the US

Samsung has improved its software update strategy over the past couple of years. More often than not, the company is usually the first Android OEM to release new security updates to smartphones and tablets. The firm has now released a new software update to the Galaxy A32 5G in the US, two weeks after it was released for international unlocked models.

The Galaxy A32 5G (SM-A326U) has started receiving a new software update on Sprint’s network in the US. The new update bears firmware version A326USQU3AUE7 and includes the May 2021 security patch. As per the company’s documentation, the May security patch includes fixes from Google and Samsung for dozens of privacy and security-related bugs and vulnerabilities. The update could reach the Galaxy A32 5G on more US networks over the next few days.

If you are a Galaxy A32 5G user on Sprint’s network in the US, you might have received a notification regarding the new software update. If your phone hasn’t received the new OTA update yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the new firmware from our database and flash it manually if you’re an advanced user.

Samsung had launched the Galaxy A32 5G in the US two months ago for $279.99. The device was launched with Android 11-based One UI 3.1, and the company has promised quarterly security updates for the mid-range smartphone.
