Galaxy M21 budget all-rounder is launching in Spain today

The Galaxy M21 is releasing in Spain today, May 13, via Amazon, PcComponentes, and Samsung’s own website. Described by Samsung Spain as a smartphone designed especially for the younger audience, the Galaxy M21 boasts a large 6,000mAh battery and a generous 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display.

The Galaxy M21 arrives in Spain with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The official announcement makes no mention of the other 6GB/128GB memory configuration, but it will likely become available at a later date. For now, customers will be able to buy the 4GB/64GB Galaxy M21 in black, blue, or green for 229 euros.

A budget phone with Galaxy A51 level of performance

Samsung’s budget-oriented smartphone is well equipped for its segment and seemingly strikes a good balance between various characteristics. The large 6.4-inch Infinity-U display is backed by a generous battery with 15W fast charging, and the phone is powered by the same Exynos 9611 chipset you’d find inside the Galaxy A51. Judging by the Galaxy A51’s performance throughout our review, you may encounter the occasional lag and stutter, but the chipset is powerful enough to handle mobile gaming and titles such as PUBG without difficulties.

The phone also has a 20MP selfie shooter, a triple main camera setup with 48MP, 8MP, and 5MP sensors, and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. The Galaxy M21 ships with Android 10 and One UI 2.0, which means it’s eligible for two major OS updates up to Android 12.
